Clean rooms, friendly staff, and nice continental b-fast (if that's your thing). Convenient location to Santa Monica, Venice, and I-10. Trader Joe's and McDonalds real close to hotel. Good "base of operation" if staying on that side of town. The area looked a little scary after dark but I had nothing to base it on - first time in LA. The parking was free, too. Tight, but free.

i was stuck in this area and i didn't have enough money i asked if my mom could fax her info to them so that i could stay there all seemed to be well until some white gay man took over. he kept calling me by the wrong name he hung up on my mother to talk to his friends on the phone. then he kept saying my mom didn't fax the info, he didn't know what he was talking about. he told me if he didn't talk to my mom he was going to kick me outta there. i took some cookies and was leaving on my way out, he got me alone and kept pointing at me and said no! i don't know what he meant by that but my moms fax did indeed go through and she paid the money even though i left, all i know is my mom better be refunded every cent of her money no one disrespects my mom. he need to check his self b4 he recks his self i don't know what his problem is he was very rude to me and my family. the first guy i was talking to was very calm and professional but as soon as this guy came in it was the exact opposite. info: free cookies and coffee if ur lucky, air conditioning, only non English speaking maintenance crew and house keeping they say you can have pets there but every part of the hotel says no pet allowed weird 158 a night ten extra per person which isn't that great for the service your getting good location for my work but who cares id Rather sleep in the dirt than have someone disrespect my momma

Management at this property have gone far above-and-beyond what's expected from the Travelodge brand. The location is convenient, rooms are clean, amenities are plentiful and the staff is both helpful and knowledgeable. I plan to make this my "go to" spot when visiting my son who attends college in Santa Monica. Perhaps we got lucky on our first visit, but I seriously doubt it. The Travelodge was a lovely place to stay for my friend and I (two females) who were on holidays from Australia. We were both very happy with the service that all the staff provided. At the end of our busy days exploring the wonders of LA, it was lovely to come back to a safe, clean and comfortable room. The supermarket next door (Trader Joes) is also an added bonus, they sell a fantastic variety of fresh foods!! Not right in the heart of all the nightlife etc but a short bus ride away. If we return to Santa Monica, we will be sure to make this Travelodge our resting place...great value for those on a low budget!!

Room was comfortable, location was pleasantly nice. Beach was easy to find however not in walking distance. Staff was great and very helpful. Parking was free as was the internet. Room was spacious and clean the only complaint I have is the shower head and the fact that at times I could hear people walking in the upstairs room. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and will definitely return in the future.

We stayed here 2 days with our dog. Found it to be comfortable and clean. Everything was working and well maintained. Staff was friendly and quick to respond to our needs. We had a room with a kitchenette. Need to bring your own utensils. Some stores are within walking distance and the beach is a short bus drive away.

I stayed here for 8 days in august and let me tell you.. it's a very good hotel for the money...not expensive...clean...free internet...as far as location,,,IO thought it would be closer to the beach. i read somwhere that the beach is a walking distance from the hotel, but I don;t think so. By the time you get to the beach you would be all tired...I started walking and turned back around and got my truck to go there...:) over all... very nice place to stay....

This was the perfect little place for a romantic weekend. It's located right across the street from an amazing Italian restaurant too! If you go here, splurge for the jacuzzi suite - it's worth it. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the amentities we needed like a fridge and a microwave. It's not the most luxurious hotel, but the staff is friendly and helpful.
