Although the lobby was busy when we checked in, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, from the coffee maker and supplies, to the hairdryer, to the makeup removing towellettes and moisturizer. Decent continental breakfast provided, as well. There was a pool, but we checked in pretty late and didn't get to take a dip. Would reccommend this hotel for the budget-conscience traveler.

I'm writing on the last night of a four night stay at the hotel and it's been a great experience. As others have stated, the hotel is new and clean, and aside from a fairly abysmal breakfast offering, every other aspect of my stay has been awesome. The room is simple but well-furnished and comfortable. There are fitted sheets on the bed (when did this become a luxury?!) and the bed and pillows are among the best I've experienced in hotels. I've talked to four separate staff members at the front desk and all were helpful and friendly, allowing me to use their office computer to print out my airline tickets and directions and getting a requested portable refrigerator to my room promptly. The location is right on Route 91 which makes it really convenient plus there's a Whole Foods and a Barnes and Nobles (with Starbucks) a few hundred yards behind the hotel. I haven't been bothered by noise from other guests or traffic and while this was a business stay when I return on a vacation, this is where I'll stay! The only downside is that while the internet connection is FREE, the connection speed is s-l-o-w.

You can see there haven't been many recent reviews and I found out the reason the hard way. The hotel is ok but the staff are a bunch of college kids that don't care about your needs. The breakfast was a stack of stale doughnuts and I paid over $150 a night.

Wow! Everything about this hotel was impressive! It was brand new and sparkly clean, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location couldn't be beat (right next to a great shopping mall and grocery store). It was also just a few doors down from a kids gym, which made it the perfect kid-friendly vacation for my son. Their pool was great, too. We visit Amherst/Hadley often, and this is the only place I will stay (especially because of the great rates!).
