Above and Beyond

When we checked in Robert was at the front desk. He was very friendly and helpful. Since breakfast would not be served until 7am on Sunday morning and we were leaving at 5am, I asked if we could have some sort of breakfast even though it wouldn't be their "hot" breakfast that they advertised. He told us to call downstairs when we woke up and the gentleman in charge of breakfast would set something up for us, and he did! We had hot coffee, juices dry cereal, fruit, muffins, bagels, etc. When I told Robert we were traveling to the Oprah show the following morning he said to stop back at the desk when I had the address handy. He wanted to be sure that we would avoid any construction that was going on. Robert was super! I was very surprised that our beds were so comfortable. They were plush feeling and each queen size bed had 4 pillows on it. This hotel is very close to the Woodfield Mall. Robert also gave us a card to turn in at the customer service desk in the mall that would allow us to have a mall coupon book. Very nice! Plus there were a ton of restaurants to choose from in the area. We had a great experience and would definintely recommend staying here. The only negative was that we had a toilet seat that shifted every time you sat down. At the time we didn't really think about letting the front desk know of this problem.
