Empty... service, quality, rooms, information, etc
It took me over 1 hr to access the internet AFTER I called the front desk and learned that I needed a code and then still was lost (as they provide NO instructions on how to do); the TV is a total guess to you too (No TV Channel listing like EVERY other place provides); breakfast changes locations and times (but nowhere do they tell you that either, despite where they highlighted it on my map, apparently it is only there on weekends); my room had a FEW plates/bowls but only 5 pieces of silverware and one large spoon - NO COOKWARE whatsoever and when I told them that two days after my arrival they said that they would bring some to my room - that never happened prior to my checkout days later; the MAID service BEGINS at 8 am and they make SO Much noise, don't plan on sleeping thru their carts rolling down the sidewalk and if you put a DO NOT DISTURB sign out - they will take the time and NOISE to slip you a piece of paper and tell you that they could NOT clean your room - waking you up; my second morning I was awoken before 9 am by a pressure washer cleaning the sidewalk outside my room and then water flooding my room bringing in dirt, debris, etc - gobs and gobs of it - not just a little trickle by NO MEANS. They have NO courtesy whatsoever at what time THEY start THEIR day. On my 3rd day here, I began to receive emails stating emails were being returned to me as spam, this has NEVER happened to me but apparently thru their internet provider I contracted something and it used my cookies and address book and sent out "Earn Money" emails to absolutely everyone and everywhere I was the day before - Red Roof Inn, even to Nellis Suites, friends I have sent emails to for years, etc - NIGHTMARE - took 3 hours to run a full security scan (that ran 8 hours before I checked in) and it found over 5000 tracking cookies/worms/viruses, etc - so their internet is definitely NOT SECURE at all. I have stayed in 40+ motels over the past 3 years and never in my internet history life have I had a problem UNTIL I stayed at Nellis Suites. Then I live local, 10 miles away, but needed to get a massive project done; I emailed them ahead of time and told them what I needed (to be sequestered and I didn't know for how long) - big sign when you pull in about a Nevada Resident special yet it is nowhere on the internet website when I booked the room. I originally booked for 4 days/3 nights and told them most likely I would be extending (which I did); however, I paid so much MORE because they would not honor the Locals Special as I would have had to do that from the start - BUT THEY KNEW from the start - I didn't - I dealt with the Mgr via emails and he certainly should have mentioned it to me that you will save hundreds if you just book the weekly rate instead of 4 days - but I guess they Really Don't Care - that is the overall impression I got and whomever took the photographs of the room on the internet is one very talented photographer; because they certainly are not that spacious, the furniture is OLD and from a flea market, scratched and beat up; NO TV in the bedroom (never seen that in my life); again NO information whatsoever throughout the room AT ALL about anything - food around you, TV Channels, How to Access the Internet, Breakfast times/locations, check out time, etc - it is the bare bone basic and NOISY. My gosh, the AC units in this place are deafening everytime they turn on and when it is over 105 degrees - I spent a great deal of "quiet" time drowned out in noise. It was a place to be sequestered, certainly not designed for my comfort, it accomplished what I needed to do but any room what have done that - it just is not all that it is cracked up to be and the staff is not helpful at all in my opinion. You will get to hear the plane noise from the Air Force Base and the bugle in the morning to wake you up at 630 am also - bring you OWN everything, plates, silverware, dishwashing tablets, paper towels, can opener and kitchen supplies
