I won't stay there again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/07/09
The view was spectacular. We had two suites, 3102 and 3103. They both stank terribly of cigarette smoke, and non smoking rooms were requested. We were a group of 6 senior women sharing two rooms (pull out in living room.) I had called from train to notify of late check in. They insisted they were non-smoking rooms. But one had a cigarette burn in the carpet, and the other cigarette burns in the bedroom end table and the coffee table. I told them on two different days to make it a smoking room for the next quest, or rip out carpeting. The odor came out into the hall it was so strong. We were given a ionizer for one night. For both rooms. On the second day I was offered new rooms, at the point we were all unpacked and only had one night left. But they way they argued with me instead of coming and smelling the rooms. It had a obvious odor of trying to mask the smell with carpet cleaner or something. Three of us were 73, 79 and 80 years old. Also the conscierge would only help us if we bought a tour for $136. I don't know if they were commission sales thru Hilton or this tour company. But would not help me with any other tour information.

LOVED IT!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/18/09
This was a FANTASTIC trip and the hotel was phenomenal! I would highly recommend this hotel to stay at. We stayed 3 nights and after I booked I found a cheaper rate online about a week before we left. They also had a hotel deal I failed to notice (view at top of choices on their website). They honored the lower rate and hotel deal when I called with no complaints. When we arrived we were upgraded to a presidental suite at $20.00 more a night (well WORTH IT!). They provide a free breakfast and a managers special every day of your stay. The breakfast is huge ( you won't leave hungry) and the managers special is finger food and a free alcoholic drink per person ( so cool!). Yes, they charge $20.00 a day for parking but from what we saw- very secure parking area. Besides, you don't need your car unless you plan to travel away from the falls. Niagara Parks has a $39.95 deal for 4 attractions plus bus and incline lift (BUY IT!) you will not regret it. The incline is directly behind the hotel and you can trade your online tickets there. We received free shuttle passes and this is my only complaint. It is confusing to know where exactly the shuttle will pick you up unless you were actually dropped off there. Walking for the most part was not an issue. It is not so big you can't hoof it. The Ripleys place was great! Do the ride unless you are pregnant ( you get tossed around alot). Skylon restraurant runs a early bird menu from 4:30 to 5:00. It is a limited menu but you will get the experience at a portion of the cost- plus you can go to the observation deck for free. Food was great! The Keg is fantastic - book it in advance- prices are reasonable and the food is to die for. Applebees by the hotel was also a great deal. We had a wonderful meal at a reasonable cost. Casino wise- well.........I liked the Fallsview- more forgiving... but all in the luck of the draw I may say. The staff at the Embassy were soooo courteous, the hotel guests so funny and I just loved it! I have absolutely never met more people from more places and it was GREAT! Elevators- not a problem for the most part except during breakfast, which was not bad. May be a problem in high season. Overall, go to the Embassy- find your way around (it won't take much) and ENJOY!

A+

This is a fantastic hotel! We have been to the falls a number of times now and this was our favorite hotel. The free breakfast was better than anything that you would have spent money on anywhere else and the daily manager's reception was the best. Just when you were ready for a snack, they put out a spread. Staff was incredibly friendly, rooms were great, everything was clean and location was great. Pool was clean and kept at a good temperature. If I had to write a complaint, it would be that the elevators were very busy, therefore, it sometimes took awhile to get one. Overall, worth every penny and made for a great trip. Will DEFINITELY go back!

Worst Service EVER!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/12/09
These people have absolutely NO customer service skills! And don't try to call and tell them that otherwise you will get YELLED at by the duty manager! I was told that since there was no documentation of the troubles that I went through with them, that basically I was lying. The hotel was nice and the food was good, but I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anybody because of the extreme lack of customer service.

Excellent hotel but Tour is a scam.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/09
The hotel is great but they've got a tour desk in the lobby that will sell you a tour package for $128 US per person. You get the impression that it's part of Embassy Suites but it's not. It's run by Elite Tours. They will tell you how they can get you through the attraction lines and take you around in an air conditioned bus on a guided tour. They use scare tactics to convince you that you will suffer hours waiting on lines. don't do it!! They rush you through the attractions and then the drivers expect a 15% tip. They are just repackaging the "Adventure Pass", a tour you can purchase anywhere in Niagara Falls for $39.95 for adults that lets you get through the lines just as fast. Go to Niagaraparks.com. Don't make the same mistake we did. It's a scam. We left Niagara feeling cheated.

The room with stunning views
By Monna, 05/26/09
My family and I spent 4 days at the embassy last week, we choose a double Queen suite with a view of both of the falls , let me tell you the suite was on the 16th floor and the view was to die for , very clean as well. We also had dinner at the keg , first row and again to die for view not to mention that the food was out of this world and the price was cheaper than I would normally spend to have dinner in NYC,that been said we had great time there nice location , very clean , the hotel rate it self was very good and the service was nice, do have in ind that everything in Niagara is very expensive , and if ya traveling with kids the hotel have video games in the room that will charge about $7 to your bill every time the game is turned on ... hehe i had 20 charges of my son turning it on and off .. lol another thing TDI Fridays OMG food is horrible and service extremely poor and rude, stay away from it, late snack go across the street . There is a $20CD parking free, they will park your car for you and they will provide a shuttle if ya need to get the car back , the parkin lot is just couple blocks from the hotel and the shuttle will leave ya where ya car is parked

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/22/09
Everything was great but do not take any tour from hotel its very very expensive goto the booth where tram goes to falls its a half a minuite walk from hotel and book your place of interest in less then half the amount what tour desk at hotel charges.however the staff at tour desk are very helpfull and nice.but dnt get carried away wth their sales talk........ rest all was great staff at breakfast place at embassy suits are not very warm and very efficient but most of them are very tired, old and arrogant.By the way two nights are more then enough for naigara. this was my experience. viren shah Roopam

Fantastic Place! Will stay here again.
By Lompoc, 05/11/09
My girlfriend and I stayed here from May 1-May 4 2009. It couldnt have been better. The view of the falls from our room was fantastic. The breakfast was great and the view from the Keg restaurant where they serve it was even better. The manager reception was also a welcome event. We didn't experience any rude staff members or long waits for elevators that I have seen in other reviews. Sometimes I think some people who write these work for other hotels in the area! Parking is $20 a night, but unless you haven't traveled to a big city in 10 years you will find similar parking charges everywhere. Fantastic place, I highly recommend it.
