A wonderful place to stay.
I stopped for the night at Douglas Inn while taking my granddaughter to camp in N. Carolina. After a long day's drive from south Louisiana with a 12-year old, in a Jeep no less, a quite atmosphere was well needed.
I have no hesitation about recommending Douglas Inn as a marvelous place to stay. Next summer, I'll stop there again taking a 13 year-old to camp, in a Jeep no less.
Now, a Cracker Barrel is located behind the Douglas Inn. We ate breakfast shortly after 6 a.m. The food was lukewarm, at best, and the service was worse.
