This location is also eight miles from the Tahoe Rim Trailhead, nine miles from Donner Lake, 15 miles from North Lake Tahoe, and 17 miles from Squaw Valley. Treated great and what a nice hotel!

All of the staff were so polite and I could hear other people talking in the elevator about what a beautiful hotel. Our family ate well and for the money we felt it was such a value. The large room felt like home and we played games in the dining room one evening. We will definately go back again!

Looks can be decieving!!!

The Good: The hotel is very cute, close to Northstar, newer construction, free breakfast, wireless internet. The Bad: Service was less than expected and we are easy to please, the rooms we stayed in all had a musty damp smell, (when I told the desk person she said all the rooms do, the manager said it would go away in the summer if we come back.) The breakfast was ok if you like cereal and cold eggs, the rooms were cleaner at the Best Western we stayed at last time we were up and that has to be an older hotel I'm sure, hot water ran out often. Over priced for what you get. Good Luck if you decide to stay there, I wish we would've been warned.

The Best!!!!!

This is hotel is so nice, it could be a Ritz! Free breakfast, great staff, beautiful rooms. This hotel is brand new, everything is lovely, clean and feels like a wonderful ski lodge in the mountains, which it is, I highly recommend, by far the best hotel in the area. Truckee old town is close and close to Northstar.

Great hotel

I love the hotel's location and rooms GREAT A+++++ place to stay.... And i also loved the fire places in the rooms. And i also hear they have a shuttle to north star for the winter season wich will be great for the winter.........

beautiful decor and great ambience

I loved the mountain style decor and fireplaces in the room! And great meeting location! The free breakfast was great. I look forward to going back during ski season as it is minutes from Northstar and they have a free shuttle.
