10 of us at our convention got sick from the food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/09/09
I got seriously sick from eating here as did 9 others at our convention held at the Radison. I reported this and got this answer from the general manager, "While I do thank you for bringing the situation to my attention, I want to again assure you that everything we did was done in accordance with food safety mandates and directives. I trust you are feeling better and I am sorry you were not able to enjoy your travels as originally planned." signed by Greg Carrish This was an expensive trip for a small business and to be posioned and have this flippant answer was inadequate compensation for the misery and drugs required to get me over it.

THREW ME OUT!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/18/08
Approx. 9:30 pm we arrived at FT McDowell Casino. My daughter wanted to go to the casino for her 21st B-day, so her dad, me (her mom)and she drove nearly an hour (remember the price of gas) and was not there 1/2 hour before we were thrown out. We played 3 gamess of wheel of fortune and bought 1 drink and danced to the band...we don't know why we had been escorted out...the security guards said we were extremely intoxicated! WHAT?! I think that they saw my daughter and I dancing and thought we were gay! UNBELIEVABLE! We definitely were NOT intoxicated beyond our limits! When we confronted the security guards with our thoughts as we were being followed out to our car, they laughed and then told us they were just doing their job, and when I introduced my daughter and I her mother they apologized over and over but they said that they couldn't do anything about it. The Fort McDowell experience was absolutely horrible!

Beautiful setting
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/02/06
A beautiful desert setting, great pool area with activities and music. The breakfast buffet is not good, restaurant service and quality needs improvement. Service around the pool is not to resort standards...we had a large group and they never came to check on us or clean up. Nice place to go and relax. Casino has great non smoking area that is actually tolerable. Lots of fun.

It was less than expected
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/28/06
Beatuiful property, Great view from our room (4th floor), and great entertainment. There were only 2 things I didnt like about my stay there. 1) The bathroom had no vent and 2) the staff in the resturant had a very relaxed work ethic. My husband and i went down for breakfast the first morning while there and it took 45 min for them to bring us our breakfast. the resturant was practically empty and they had PLENTY of waiters on hand. I still dont know what the hold up was but we never went back down for breakfast after that...and 3.00 coffee that tasted like dirt...no thank you. I will more than likely return but I will not be eating at there resturant. (when staying at this hotel be sure to have access to a car. there are no resturnats in walking distance beside the one on site)

Bingo Hall
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/25/04
Best place to play Bingo. Daily specials and you dont need to take out a loan to play. Buffet used to be better when they had king crab leg specials.
