Nice hotel, but too loud.
This is a beautiful new hotel with first rate amenities, but it does have a few flaws, that are hard to overlook given the steep price tag. The lobby is a bit cold, not very welcoming, but the staff was warm and friendly. The rooms were a decent size, and the beds were extremely comfortable! The flat screen TV is a major plus. The two biggest detractors to the experience were noise and location. The walls of the rooms are paper thin, and extremely noisy! I stayed there for New Year's Eve, and the sound of rowdy, drunk party goers where hard to ignore, it was as if they were in the room with you. This went on until 5-6am. Not good. Second, for me the location was great because the function I attended was in the hotel, but for a Boston visitor the location is not a selling point. The hotel is located in the new Waterfront district, not that close the public transportation or any of the attractions of Boston.
