Country Inn and Suites Effingham, Effingham

From the moment we made our reservation, this was a great experience. The gentleman on the phone was friendly and helpful. We were in Effingham on a weekend when there were several events and most of the other hotels had doubled and tripled their rates. County Inn did not. It was immaculate and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was better than most restaurants. I've already recommended it to friends who will be in the area and I highly recommend it as a warm and friendly place to stop at after a long day of travelling or just for a nice night away. The Country Inn was a very nice surprise. Great place to stay, very friendly staff, very clean rooms, very good breakfast, etc. When visiting or passing through Effingham, IL we will definitely stay there again.

Excellent service, clean room, breakfast was good, and there were also some great restaurants very close by. We would definitely recommend staying there.

We were so happy with our recent stay at this hotel and will certainly stay there again if we are in Effingham. The service was great, friendly and helpful staff. The pool was nice and warm which is usually not the case. It was nice and quiet during the week. Rooms were clean and spacious, refrigerators and microwaves are available in some of the regular rooms if you ask for them. Breakfast bar had a lot of choices and coffee, juice, hot chocolate, hot tea and cookies are available all day which makes for a nice snack. We have a 5 yr old and 9 month old and would definitely recommend this hotel for young families. They provided us with a portable crib free of charge, a lot of hotels charge $5 a night for cribs. Is conveniently located near several restaurants and Super Wal-Mart. No complaints at all with this hotel!

It was a nice surprise to stay in a place that has suites big enough for a family of 5. Not many places have space for 2 adults and 3 growing girls. We were traveling from PA to MO and stopped in IL for the night. The girls enjoyed swimming (pool was open late) and the cookies in the lobby really hit the spot for the girls. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best I had as far as free breakfasts go. The girls hit the pool one more time in the morning (we had a delay in our start since our car battery was dead) Then we were back on the road again.

This hotel was very nice. Clean, great staff, great location. It was surprisingly quiet, and the pool area was great. Cookies go fast though!

It was very quiet even though it was so accessible to the Interstate. The lobby was plesant and the breakfast area clean and will staffed. Very friendly staff.
