Atrium Palace, Barcelona

Our family loved this hotel during our stay in Barcelona. The inside is modern, stylish, and clean. The rooms are large enough to situate three people (depending on what type of room you order). The service was friendly and prompt. And the food served in the restaurant was tasty and bountiful. The location is within walking distance of Barecelona's top attractions such as the Casa Milà and Plaça de Catalunya and as well as Barcelona's shopping centres. We highly recommend this hotel. Hopefully we will return to Apsis Atrium Palace and Barcelona in the near future!

We loved this hotel. The room was nice and spacious with a view on the street. The location was perfect. We booked breakfast for 8 euros, which was really worth it, as they had wide selection. Everything was just perfect in this hotel. The beds were very convenient. The staff could have been friendlier, but it is not a big issue as they weren't rude or impolite or anything, there is nothing to complain about. The free water from the minibar is a really good idea. Alltogether this hotel is a very good value. We didn't see any family with children staying at this hotel and we were really happy not having kids running around, making noise etc.

The hotel in appearance is fantastic, modern and stylish. Maintenance was superb, during our stay there were two malfunctions, the jacuzzi and the lifts both stopped working briefly, but were very quickly rectified. The room was a good size, altho we had a very questionable view - which given they knew we were there on honeymoon, could have been better considered (overlooking air conditioning ducts and drain pipes) - however, it was comfortable and well served with minibar and daily toiletries. The restaurant, while great for breakfast - serving a great morning buffet - seemed too well lit, giving it a very clinical feel and robbing it of any ambience for evening dining (hence we chose not to eat there in the evenings). Its positioning for the main attractions of Barcelona is excellent, and some of the staff were very helpful (some struggled a little to offer good advice). The stay was not entirely without criticism, aside from the room view, they do not offer a currency exchange service, which was a little inconvenient, and also, prior to our stay I emailed to make special requests for my new wife (ie bunch of flowers, chocolates etc), I received one reply saying I would be contacted, however, despite a second email prior to departure, no contact was made and subsequently nothing was organised. On the whole, I would recommend a stay at this hotel.

This hotel is located on a busy avenue yet when you are inside you hardly hear the traffic noise. I stayed in the hotel for 5 days. It is ideally located. Everything is within walking distance: Las Ramblas, Le Cortez Ingles, Metro. The rooms are modern and clean. The bathroom is spacious. The minibar with free water and juice is a nice bonus. The swimming pool is very small. The only bad point was for the majority of my stay one of the elevators was broken. There are two small elevator that service all the hotel guests to their room.
