Quality Inn Sabari, Chennai

Definitely was a pleasant place to stay! My room view was great and so was the breakfast! If any of u wanna save money on it tho I'd suggest using SweetHotelDeals. Net They have some really good prices on there!!

We had booked 10 rooms at this hotel and paid an advance of Rs15000 in cash a week before our stay from 28 jun -04 jul 09.before reaching there the sales manager M L Mahesh created a problem about the Room rate and once we agreed to the new quoted price he offered us to stay at an another hotel, because he had already cancelled our reservation or we were told to stay till 02jul and then move to another hotel. We reached Chennai and stayed in Hotel Chariot (a good hotel nearby) and asked him to refund our money else we shall take the hotel to consumer court. The sales manager (M L Mahesh) whom we had always been speaking agreed and then again started the red tapism it seemed as if we were approaching a Govt office to seek refund (even IT refund is easier to get).Finally with no other option we barged into the hotel on the day we were leaving Chennai (on 04 jul 09) and got the refund back. The staff is shameless and inefficient. I still have a zerox copy of advance payment and the mails regarding confirmation of booking. My company set me up here when visiting our Chennai center. It was our first time using them and will be my last. The staff was friendly but the rooms had severe mold issues (probably due to the humidity). I was moved to a new room and it had the same issue. The next evening, I moved down the road to another hotel, the Fortune. A much better hotel for a similar cost. I will say the staff at Sabari was friendly and the Manager was very apologetic about the rooms.

Very Irresponsible Management. My vehicle was damaged due to their negligence. They agree to get the vehilce repaired and later did not do anything. Even they agreed for reimbursement of repair charges were not kept.

I stayed during Aug 2006. The service is very good and staff are friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms are very clean with good facilities and we like the wordings kept near the taps on not to waste the water.

The way Jothi Memon - the Sales Manager used to meet all guest during breakfast and take feed back was great.She not only took feed back but worked on them. I remamber mentioning that are wedding anniversary was next day. She arranged cake & flowers to be sent up to our room. The GRE's used to call up everday to check how stay was, in short, the touch was very warm & personal. We love staying there. I always recomend my friends to stay there. Bidisha Banerjee

I have stayed at this hotel twice. The pool has nevered been filled with water and the bathtub had paint chipping off. THe staff and buffet breakfast are very nice touch. The staff was very personable.
