Great place and even better location!

I arrived in Bogota 1/10 hoping to find a nice and comfortable hotel, different than the big chain hotels, and found exactly what I was looking for at the Lancaster House. The hotel is an absolute charming art deco building in a great location of the northern part of the city, across the street from the city's bus/metro system, Transmilenio, and it was an easy walking distance to great shopping and restaurants in the area.
I found the hotel's customer service to be impeccable and very, very friendly. They always remembered my name and made sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's restaurant has wonderful food, and they will even make anything for you even if it's not on their menu. The rooms are quite large, and I found out that since in Colombia everything is built with bricks and concrete (not drywall like in the US), you cannot hear any noises from adjacent rooms.
Would I stay at the Lancaster House again during a next visit? Absolutely!
