Heartbreak Hotel, Key West

The worse place we'd ever stayed at in our lives, wouldn't suggest this place to my worse enemy. Mold on the frig, dust so bad, not fit to stay at for anyone. The board of health should go and pay a visit to this pig pen. Then the story about the guy messing around when it use to be a porn shop or store a couple years ago, got shot downstairs. The so called Manager he/she, we never did see and your sure aren't getting your monies worth out of this place, and your not going to get any refunds either. Please for your own sake don't stay here, and in the further please check around alot before staying almost anywhere, Look 1st and then decide about staying, AAA is the best way to know it's going to be a decent place to lay your head. Key West is a nice place to visit and have fun. Just be careful where you stay. A lot of great things to see and do while your there, just not Heartbreak Hotel. Remove this 1 from your list. The pictures are so missleading, the pictures are nothing like the room we had by no means. Couldn't wait to leave the next morning, after walking DuVaul Street the night before, just wanted to sleep and the next morning the Heartbreak set in. Got the willies so bad and felt so dirty, just wanted to find a nice place to get a shower and change clothes and feel clean again. Someone down on their luck and money this would suit them but sure not us by any means. At least when your at a halfway decent place you feel clean and comfortable for sure. A nightmare is what this place is like, just wasn't what we ever expected to deal with, thank God for taking care of us with his protection. DE visitor PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE FOR YOUR OWN SAKE. Don't know what you might catch by just walking up the flight of steps, and down the long hallway to a room. Just don't know what is waiting for you there. Creapy place. It should be investigated for a large number of things for sure. The maintenance Man there is the 1 who brought us the key to the room, and to sign the paper, for the room. Connie is the manager there, he/she we were told, not a people person for sure, glad we didn't meet he/she. Awful, AWFUL PLACE TO HAVE TO STAY, had mad plans to stay for 2 nights, they know how to get people by the pictures. Don't be fooled by them, It's nothing like the pictures, DIRTY, DUSTING, MOLDY, DON'T STAY, PLEASE DON'T STAY, AWFUL PLACE. DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY. PLEASE TAKE WARNING!!!!!!!!!

Never have I been so upset about the way a HOSPITALITY? oriented person treated me and close freinds. I was in town with 12 other friends( all of wich stayed at other establishments). Couldnt even let anyone just come to room to use restroom and P was knocking on door(CAMERAS are everywhere) to punish me!Control Freak!!! 38years old here and not a child.
