Tarpon Inn, Tarpon Springs

i liked the locations and the room we had nice waterfall or view and we stayed 2 weeks there and nice service they were awesome !!! the people were new and they gave discount and really nice !!!!!

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION - This motel is right across from the bayou where Epiphany is held every Jan 6th - where the Greek boys dive for the cross. If you enjoy early morning walks it's fabulous and walking the bayou leads to a city park & bigger bodies of water. It's not the newest or spit & polished but it's not $100+ per night either. After all, you only sleep there. This is also in walking distance of the Greek Church, quaint downtown shopping area, several bars & restaurants and within a short ride to the world famous sponge docks. All the rotten reports you may see are probably from a previous owners mismanagement of the motel. Sam, mgr., is a nice guy and will be very accomodating. Tell him Dennis recommends the motel and to treat you right!

this hotel was i never seen in my entire life.really dirty, bad not good , AC not working and not service for 5 days i was really tired but i had no place to live ,my entire trip was bad for this hotel owner is really bad attitude, no respect

we were very happy with our stay, room was more than clean and in good working order, bath was large and very nice, rooms was of good size, tv worked well, freg and microwave, price was great. the best of all was it was just a few blocks from the greek viliage. they charged us 10.00 per pet and did not give us any problems about out pets. would stay again.

Proximity to everything was great. Staff was young, but helpful. It's worth the money. The place could also use a little more cleaning and newer linens. Thank you.

Only reason I booked this hotel was the proximity to downtown.I had hoped that the reviews were wrong ( or at least things were better ) . Upon checking at 3pm , we were given keys to a room that had not been cleaned yet . After complaining to a very uncooperative front desk clerk ( high school age ) we were checked into a different room . The vertical blinds on the big picture window do not close completely , and even tho it faces the back of the hotel , people could see in if they wanted to ( -do not get undressed in room with the lights on- ) On returning to hotel the next day after a day trip , found that maid had not cleaned room , emptied grbage or left fresh towels ( had to ask for them ). Room was cleaned 1 x during 3 day stay .No complimentary ice for room - was charged for it .Pool still broken - obviously not a priority to fix . Desk clerks were not very friendly ( except one ) and were generally too busy talking with hotel manager or smoking outside to actually help us with questions or concerns .

I stayed here in April of 2005 (Easter) after reading a positive review here at Yahoo. If you are tight on cash, this is your place. Great location in Tarpon Springs, but it stops there. Not very clean, cold ceramic tile floors and a very odd bathroom layout. Spent only one night there and never came back. Would only recommend if you cannot afford a Motel 6.

July 2005 Liked the location. Staff was pleasant. The room was filthy. We would have moved to another hotel but we had family close by. We had heard that they were renovating but it only seemed worse than the year before.

OLDER BUT CLEAN...GREAT LOCATION...OTHER BUDGET MOTELS OUT ON RT 19 STRIP...SAW 8 MANATEES IN LAGUON RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET...PLEASANTLY SUPRISED..WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN
