Relaxing

We've stayed twice at the Irwin Street Inn, the first time we were given a gift certificate by my sister (she lives three blocks from the INN) and we were impressed with the charm of the turn-or-the-century rooms and the buildings themselves. We loved sitting on the porch to take our breakfasts and the breakfast chef was more than accomadating. As a diabetic I have certain diet restrictions and they were careful to see to it that I had what I needed. But I must say, that it was more of a comprimise because they didn't have the best stock on hand for my condition. However, the chef did a good job of working with what he had. And for us the idea of a "bottomless" coffee pot was wonderful! And we were comfortable sitting at the table for at least a couple hours or more.
If you're in Hanford, we recommend the Irwin Street Inn. And by the way, the manager/owner is a charming and considerate gentleman!
