Bluefields Bay Hotel, Bluefields

Loved the GREAT service from all! We stayed 5 days treated like royalty!! The restaurant was as good as most any in town. All of our needs were addressed, very safe- always had a full time guard on duty.

Likes: Clean, spacious, beautiful view of bay from hotel restaurant, not too far off the beaten track. Hot showers! Dislikes: (1) Killer air conditioning, with no way to turn it down at night, and no blankets provided. (2) Restaurant opens only at 7 a.m., whereas most tourists will need to leave hotel at 6:45 to catch plane back to Managua. (3) Hotel desk can phone for a taxi, but there is no guarantee the taxi will actually show up at the requested time.
