Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Victorville, Victorville

We stayed here the nites of 3/31, 4/1 & 4/2 2007. Housekeeping here was awful. On 4/1 they took our used towels and forgot to bring fresh ones and we had to pick up fresh ones from the front desk that evening. On 4/2 a.m., as we went out, we hung a sign on the doorknob for "maid service please". The maid totally ignored our room and we returned late to find everything as we had left it in the a.m.! We had to AGAIN go to the front desk for fresh towels and the desk clerk had to come up to our room to pick up our trash. Also, their website says they have a "complimentary hot buffet breakfast". This is not true. What they have is basically a continental breakfast with 2 hot items. The first morning we were there it was scrambled egg (eggbeaters?) and greasy bacon and the second morning it was greasy sausages and some kind of potatoes (not known what they were supposed to be).

My boyfriend took there one evening and told me we were just getting away and I was so excited but I wasnt expecting the luxury we recieved. Just walking in there is sucha beautiful chandelier and then upon entering the room i was shocked. It was like a small apartment complete with a small fridge! Then when I turned the corner and seen the jacuzzi I was flabergasted I absolutely loved it. We had such a great night and the bed was so large you could fit like 5 people on it!
