African Pride Melrose Arch Hotel, Johannesburg

The Melrose Arch Hotel is in the trendiest part of Johannesburg (South Africa) -- very stylish, avant-garde and I love the glass and chrome decor and mood lighting. The hotel is surrounded by excellent restaurants and boutiques so there's a variety of cuisines available (including room service) to partake in. I loved the absolutely comfy bed, soft sheets, and plush fluffy white towels... The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to help me on several occasions. I had breakfast delivered to my room and the eggs were perfect, bacon was crispy, and the fruit was fresh. My car was parked overnight and the parking is very secure. It's a great place and convenient location for a weekend getaway or business trip and I look forward to staying again soon.

Melrose Arch is one of the nicer locations in Johannesburg. Highly recommended. The hotel, although I stayed there on business, would be suitable and very comfortable to anyone on vacation. Nice pool area. Very relaxed. So is the staff however. Do not expect any service whatsoever, not to mention someone friendly.

Its very spacious. Good room service. Good front desk. Good breakfast.
