Excellent value using Priceline

The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked with juices, cereals, waffles, eggs, pastries etc. Not exactly gourmet, but certainly sufficient and welcome. Internet worked. Convenient to downtown. The staff was friendly. Perfect for a Priceline visit and rate.

Good Service

This was our first time using this service. Parking taken care of and no worries driving to the airport. The room was very comfortable for a one-night stay, the van driver in the morning was efficient and fun. Coming home however we hit a snag. Arrived at Sacramento Airport 10:30pm with no van waiting. Called the hotel and was told it would return in 25mins. This after flying for five and a half hours. We took a cab back to the hotel. Called the manager next day and he promptly refunded our taxi fare back to my credit card with profuse apology. We will use this hotel again in September for another trip.

Dishonest

My room was very cold and when we asked for the heater be fixed, we were told there was nothing wrong with it. The temperature read one thing, the actual temperature was totally different. So cold that my husband actually got sick from the cold. They agreed to adjust our bill, but have not done so. When contacted on numerous occassions, they indicated they were taking care of it, but to date nothing has been done.

Nice and Clean

My husband were in town for a conference and found this place to be conveniently located from the convention center (about 3-4 block walk). We enjoyed the cleaniness and comfort of the hotel. It also serves daily breakfast not just a continental but a wholesome breakfast which is an excellent addition to the overall rate we paid while staying here. I would recommend to friends and family and we would definitely consider staying here again in the future. There is no pool but there's a fitness room.

6-22-08 Holiday Inn Express, 728 16th Street Sacramento, Ca. Had to get information to my husband for his business meeting. Machu at the front desk was very helpful. Excellent Service. Thank You so much. Susan

Very nice room

I liked the proximity of the hotel to the convention center and walked the 6 blocks each day of my stay. I liked the accomodations, and the courtesy of the employees. The room was nice, but I had to ask them to turn on the airconditioner as one cannot turn it on by oneself. Also, they do not have a bellman so you have to carry your own bags up and down to and from the room and it can be quite a trek. All-in-all, it was a pleasant stay.

Not bad, not great

I don't know where they got that picture but that is not this place. The hotel is on the corner of 16th and G st. Write that down if you're going to try and find it. Within walking distance are a variety of good eateries of various types and the state capitol. The rooms were a little stuffy but clean. Wireless internet only, and kind of slow at times.
