Quality Hotel Midtown, Montreal

We call for reservation and the person at the front desk was like in a hurry, the guy was rude and not nice, well I said to myself, maybe he is having a bad day, we got there and we wait for 15 min to get his attention (I guess it was the same guy) his overall response to us was terrible, his face was a face of "live me alone", he finally gave me the keys and we went to the room.....worse room ever, I was so disappointed that I almost turn back and run, but it was 8:30 pm and with two very tired kids at my side, we decide to stay the night. They charge us $145 the night and they say they are a 3 stars hotel, not even 1. The continental breakfast, not even a microwave to warm up food, and if you wanted to eat after 8:30, forget it, nothing there!!!!! Horrible Hotel, Please, do not stay there if you can!!!! I am thinking of contacting the Quality Inn costumer service to complain directly, that was a rat place!!!!

I would never return and could never recommend this hotel to others.

I stayed at this place with some of my friends for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately we had an emergency. the front desk staff were very accomadating and pleasant. the hotel rooms are in great shape. they look like they have been recentely renovated. I wish all Hotels were as good as this one.

The hotel is perfectly located in the center of Montreal. the rooms were nice and comfortable. The staff were well trained and knowledgeable of the Montreal area

I checked into this hotel on Dec 30. the following was my experience. The Hotel was in beautiful condition. It is located in the center of the city. close to many shopping malls. the restaurants offer a superb variety of delicious cuisines. the staff had a good knowledge of Montreal and its surrounding areas

We loved the location. So in March, we decided to stay more kosher for my in laws. We were directed to the local Walmart by Mourad. The front desk person. The service was really warm and the manager was very helpful. There was a cheap cinema nearby. It made for a very inexpensive stay. The parking was free and so was the internet. I did not own a portable computer to we asked to use the office near the front desk. I think that they gave it to us for free as the bill did not show any charge. The price for one night was over 110 and the breakfast was not bad. It looked better than it tasted. But we did not eat a whole bunch as we were not sure how much transfats there is in their muffins and bagels.

My sister and myself really loved this hotel during our visit to Montreal 2006. This was our second time in this area and the first time was at Ruby Fooz which was the exact same type of hotel but was we paid way less at the Quality Hotel Midtown. The Quality is a small hotel, so it was hard to get a room for our 2 nights. We paid $124 and got breakfast free, free highspeed and free local calls. That saved us at least $60 becasue you have to pay for that at the Ruby Fooz. Chad, the GM was helpful as he was availible to show us some rooms before we picked the one we wanted. We liked the view of the big church of St.Josephs. Parking is free too at both hotels, but Ruby charges all other things. I will definitely go back to the Quality, and get more points on my card.

What can we say. My wife loved the food. I liked the free amenities like breakfast, parking internet wifi, crib. I cannot say anthing bad as we even paid a great rate. $99 group rate hospital rate. My mother in law was at the local hospital. Usually that means driving home after the first night, but we stayed an extra night because the price and the value. Nicole was very nice at the front desk and gave us a free drink coupon for their restaurant. If U have to be in Montreal in the winter, you might as well enjoy it. I would go here, its hands down the best hotel in Montreal, for the price. Special note for thier staff Brian, Mourad and Chad Theriault. Thank you for the friendliness and all your help!

I came into Montreal, for a Business meeting in Laval. whenever I come to Montreal I stay at this place, due to it's proximity to synaguges. The staff at this place really make you feel like a king. I had forgotten My toothbrush and shaving cream at home. Within 2 minutes of calling the Fd they were at my door step. On My second night at the Hotel I sprained My shoulder. One of the Housekeepers was nice enough to go out and purchase Myoflex for me. really nice place at a great rate

The Quality Hotel midtown, is beautifully designed. when i checked in i was amazed at how efficient and well trained the staff were, this was truly a really fine experience.
