This Place Is A Dump

Avoid this place like the plague! Last week we stayed at the Kenai Landing. We booked a two-room suite for 4 adults and 2 children.
The rooms were in an old run down building that we had to walk across 20 yards of mud to get to the front door.
The entry way had spider webs I had to clear with one of the two hangers from the closet before my kids would go in the room.
The carpets were old and worn, the windows were dirty, the screens were torn, etc...
The bathroom was discusting. The water in the toilet and from the sink and shower was BROWN, REALLY BROWN, even after we let it run for 10 minutes. We chose not to take showers the next morning and had to brush our teeth using bottled water that we brought with us. The toilet barely worked and when we took the tank lid off to check it out the whole inside of the tank was coated with black slime
Twice I walked to the Registration building to complain and it was empty and locked. Later in the evening I found it open and attended by a summer-hired college student that wasn't sure what she could do to help me.
We decided to make the best of it and talk with someone in the morning. We went to the restaurant for snacks.
We ordered drinks and snacks. It took 10 minutes for our beers to arrive because there was only one person there that was old enough to serve alcohol. A hot tea that we ordered was served with black stuff floating on top. We ordered a Salmon dip that wasn't served with any crackers or bread. The waiter informed us that is how they serve it, like we were suppose to just eat it with a fork. We asked him to bring some crackers or bread and he brought us one, yes one, dinner roll.
The next morning as we were leaving I went to the registration building to check out and to hopefully speak with someone and you guessed it, the building was empty and locked.
BTW, We also had a very disappointing stay at the Van Gilder hotel in Seward two years ago, another Land's End Resort property.
