Wilderness Bay Lodge, Ely

Wilderness Bay Lodge has 8 cabins on Snowbank lake. The only way to get there is by boat. The cabins are always spotless, and the area is very pretty and peaceful. They have a wood fired sauna, basic groceries, and canoes and boats for rent. We love to fish, hike, and pick blueberries. At night, it is so quiet that we can hear the mosquitos outside of the screened porch! No cell phone service, no TV, no distractions, just the peace and quiet of the lake, with the occasional call of a Loon, or a passing boat during the day. I went with my parents when I was a teenager, and now 25 years later it is the same folks running it. Wonderful people, wonderful place.
