Horrible disappointment!

I found this "Resort" online and I thought it looked SO great. I was very excited to be there. We reserved a campsite. There's no photos of the campsites or cabins, etc.- just a very old photo of the RV site which is now RV and campsite and there's a reason for that! When we arrived, the owners were not professional- we waited and waited to get checked in. They were outside the office arguing and they knew good and well we were there waiting. The campsite and RV site is seperate from the "Resort". It's down the road a little ways. There's absolutely no privacy- the campsites are very close together with no trees-nothing between the campsites. It says online "Mike's campground has space for 16 tents in the trees near the creek"- The campsites are not in the trees. Yes, there's a very pretty creak and wooded area BEHIND all the sites which we really did like. There's hardly any space to put up your tent AND to park your car or truck. Its that small! The firepits are pathetic. We had to build our own. The quiet hours were not enforced. The nights were so loud- it was like a huge college frat party- it went on til after midnight. There was fireworks going off at midnight from one of the campsites. That is very dangerous in such tight spaces. The prices are way too high for campsites like this. If it was nice and wooded between campsites and more private, sure $25 a night would be great. There's NO bathrooms or showers in the campground/RV site- just a port-a-potty. On the resort, there's a "shower room" which is group showers and has ONE toilet in there! Hello!! No curtains, nothing. The cabins looked very run down on the resort. Online it says that non-resort guests have to pay $10 to scuba dive. When we told her we were going to dive too, she was going to charge us for the diving. After we insisted this is what it said on the internet and after looking, she did give us diving for free since we were resort guests! Yes, the dive is fantastic. If you want to dive, I would just go there and pay teh $10 to dive IF you are NOT a resort guest :) This place is not as great as they look online and its not worth your stay for their prices. This was the worst camping experience EVER! We will never go back to Mike's Beach Resort! We were very unhappy with our campsite and asked for a refund but refused to give us one. We came home a day early on Labor Day weekend because it was horrible nights, very unprofessional and not a great experience there.
