Bad Business Policy

I needed to cancel my one night reservation 5 nights before arrival. Five Days Before! The owner refused to return my deposit for a one night cabin reservation. He claimed that he turned many people away because I booked a cabin for ONE night and he could have rented it out for the entire weekend. Well, if the cabins are so high in demand, why not return my $50? After all, 5 days notice is ample time for the owner to fill it up since it is so popular. POOR AND SLEAZY BUSINESS PRACTICE.
