Union Bay Hot Tub Cabins, Union

The cabin was filthy and the toilet was broken. LOTS of water leaking out the bottom of the toilet. Turns out the gasket between the floor and the toilet had broken and water was pouring all over the floor. When we brought it to the attention of the manager, he screamed at us and claimed we broke it. Said he was goinng to charge us for it. When my wife called him about it later, he started yelling again and insulted her several times. Actually called her names and cursed at her. Would not give us our money back. This is one of the worst places I've ever seen and the manager doesn't seem fit to manage a dog house.

Despite the other reviews we went on recommendation of a family member. No it's not 5 stars, but for the rest of us, an affordable getaway. The managers were very helpful, the place was clean, and we will definitely be going again. We planned on company joining us, and when they didn't, we weren't even charged the extra fee (like a hotel would've done.) When we couldn't figure out how to turn the hot tub heat up at 11PM, we called and the man on the phone was very nice, walked me through how to find the dial and turn it up. It is very out of the way, but isn't that the point? That's why we 'get away.' We just got back and will definitely be going again... we usually get jacuzzi rooms at hotels, but having a full size hot tub was perfect! My ONLY complaint... in the big cabin you can't see the tv from the hot tub...

My boyfriend and I went for a weekend here and the cabin we had was disgusting. It had small ants crawling all over the place with a convoy of them along one wall. Then there were bigger ants on the other side of the room along the wall. It was old, the hot tubs were too hot we couldn't even use them without getting burned. It was very gross there and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you want a cabin where it looks like they filmed a porno in it, then these are the cabins for you. Not a place you want to take your loved one for a romantic getaway. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!

The Manager, Dave, is a fine gentleman and did everything he could to make me and my pet comfortable.

Its discusting, when we couldn't wait to leave in the morning, The manager charged my credit card with out permission,an extra $75.00 because 2 extra guest slept on the dirty floor. When I nicely asked about the $75.00 charge, ontop of the $130.00 room fee. He freeked out on me!!! (said I had 3 extra guest and I only had 2, basically calling me a liar) Had no interest in making it fair. being a local here for 30yrs you would think you would want to satisfy your customers, not purposely piss them off. There is holes in the ceilings and mold, worped floors, and it smells. I will never stay here again and I will make sure to spread the word to all of Belfair. If I would have known I was going to have to pay over $200 to stay somewhere where they should only charge $40.00 I would have stayed next door at Alderbrook. were its clean, nice and I can use there spa, swimming pool and sauna. This is the fist time I have ever complained about anything and the first time I have written a review. 1 star = Awful

My husband and I used to go there all the time but the management keeps changing and so do the cabins are run down and the guy that is the manager now is a complete jerk!!! dont waist your time driving out there!! or your money when the tubs break down! or they take money off your credit card before your even there!!
