Beautiful Setting

Went up with family, spent 4 nights and had 2 separate cabins,
(Gulls Nest and Fitzgerald)
The nice thing about these cabins is that they were right next to one another and they both had nice views and were right on the water. But... we highly recommend the Gulls Nest over the Fitzgerald.
The Fitzgerald was a much smaller cabin and it stunk from gas or something. Where the Gulls nest had more room because it was an open design. Had windows on each side where the breeze could flow through easier. And it did'nt stink nearly as bad as the Fitzgerald. Gulls Nest was worth the money, Fitzgerald I think should be alittle cheaper. The owners do not offer weekly rates. I'm sure if one did alittle searching one could pay for 1 week else where for what we paid for 4 nights, as for there seems to be alot of different places along the north shore.
Loved our stay but probably would not go back again for this reason.
Both cabins had a sink,
refrigerator, counter top stove, coffee maker, plates, cups of all sorts, utinsils, gas bbq's, chairs on the decks, etc. The owners were friendly when they were around. Office was open only for a few hours a day probably because they also own Emily's bar and grill (from the cabins up about a mile) We actually ran out of tp on our last day and could'nt get any because the office was closed. We found another sulution but was somewhat disappointed over that. Anyway- We did purchase fire wood and was able to have campfires on the rocks right next to the water. Which was awesome. Loved the water and the view. And I think you would too in the Gulls Nest for sure. It was fair as far as cleanliness goes. The cobwebs and such just added to the nature part of it. Beds were soft and more comfortable then our own at home. If you like nature and are looking for a quiet and pieceful place
this is the place for you. If your more into the city life and are used to going your probably better off in Downtown Duluth.
