Lake Shore Cabins, Ontonagon

My husband and I took a trip to the mountains for our anniversary. After driving around a bit, we stumbled upon the Lake Shore Cabins. Rick (the owner) was so friendly and helpful when getting us checked in and settled. We stayed in cabin 4, right on the lakeshore! All the cabins have two bedrooms, a bathroom (no shower, but there is a shared bathhouse), stove, fridge, sink, dishes and cooking utensils (except for one cabin that is larger), a small weber grill, and more! We enjoyed the screened in porch with the swing and picnic table. There are firepits on the beach, which is a lot of fun! I also enjoyed walking the beach looking for agates and beach glass (both of which are abundant!) It is also a very short (7 min) drive to the state park, and only about 15 minutes from the Lake of the Clouds. Everything was VERY clean, and Rick made us feel so welcomed. Any time I am in the area in the future, I will be staying here!
