Whispering Pines Resort, Manistique

We have been going up to this resort for the past 17 years and we really enjoy it. It is right in the middle of everything. There are plenty of things to do and the campfires are really great. There is a great view of the lake from every cabin, and the new owners going on their 3rd year, have been making improvements each year. I look forward to return next summer.

I recently stayed at this resort in northern MI after Christmas for a mini getaway with my family. If you love ice fishing, snowmobiling, and relaxing, this is the place. Our cabin was excellent! Very cozy, clean, and warm. We can't wait to go back this summer for fishing, hiking, horsebacking riding and more relaxing! The location is amazing. When we opened the patio door the lake is just feet from you. The rates are great, REALLY good and the owners are remodeling all cabins and making changes to better serve the customers. It is now open year around.

Very affordable prices, friendly staff, My husband and I really enjoyed the campfire and our freshly caught fish fry over the fire. We will be returning this summer and will be staying longer. cabins were very comfortable and cozy, just what I expected in a northern MI. resort. I would recommend this resort for anyone who wants a backwoods experience.
