A true fishing lodge. Timberlake is not fancy shmancy, but it is very clean and affordable. It's a true get-a-way lodge where fishing is great. Hayward, is close and easy to get to. No TV or phone in cabins, however they are in the lodge. There is a sandy beach, cement boat launch, spacious dock (they have motor & boat rental), pontoon boat rental and a swimming platform a few feet from shore. Owners are friendly and treat everyone like family. There is even a fire pit for cozying near on chilly nights. My husband and I like it, we have been there 7 of the last 10 years.
