The cabins that you can rent are right on the water.The swimming beach is just for the people renting a cabin.The beach is clean and has a swing set and jungle gym.The cabins are on a channel of sorts so the water is warmer here and no wakes from boating passersby.We loved fishing off of our own pier that each cabin has.We made huge fire's at night in our separate fire pits.There is a upnorth feel bar on the grounds and the kids are welcome for a soda or a video game anytime.This is the only time my kids are allowed into a bar!!The cabins are cozy rustic with stove,frig,fans, bedding,and kitchen supplies. Just bring own towels and a relaxed attitude.We love it and have been going here for about 4 years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else after staying here.
