Poorly Built Hotel, Bring Ear Plugs!
By ,
Upon arrival we were impressed by the exterior of the hotel, the lobby and the water park. The room itself (Queen Family Suite) was unimpressive, decor was dated with old TV's. The glassware in our room was full of dried on food and fingerprints. The water park was clean and entertained our kids for a few hours. When we returned to our room after having dinner we had to listen to the people above us jumping and running till 2am. We complained to the front desk a number of times but the noise never stopped. The next morning at 8am the people above us started stomping and turned their TV up very loud. It was clear this hotel was not quality built, they could learn a thing or two from higher end hotel chains. With that said, I recommend taking your kids to the Tundra Lodge for a few hours to enjoy the water park, DON'T waste your money on staying over night you won't get any sleep.

Nahhh
By ,
It was okay...... the walls were paper thin, you could hear everything. The pool closes around nie but you can still hear kids running up and down your halls, our family didn't get to be until 1 'oclock in the morning! Besides that it was pretty nice, but the day after we left the hotel my dauther got the flu. Too much people, germs (considering watching little kids pee in the pool).

Had a good time-the kids loved it!
By ,
We went for our 8 year old and 5 year old, and they loved it. We got a deal on the rooms because we booked them mid week. The water park was good for the kids, however you must be 48" tall to use the water slides, or they must go with an adult. Good to note, as hubby or me had to go in the water at all times for our youngest to use the slides. Didn't know this when we booked. Rooms were clean, staff at the front desk was very helpful and the hotel was very centrally located to most restaurants and local attractions. The arcade was very pricey, best bet is to set a price limit there or you can wind up going overboard. One nice plus was that they had life jackets on site so we didn't have to drag them with us. We didn't have any of the cob webs or filth in our room that I read about here. All in all we had a good time and the kids loved it, but if you are looking for a quiet time, this is not the place. A ton of little kids and even more noise. But if you know to expect this, as it comes with kids, it's no big deal. If you are looking for a quiet get a way for two, obviously don't choose an indoor waterpark. I would take my kids here again, simply for the ease of finding it and how centrally located it was within the city. A good time for a family.

Splash & Play Family Fun!
By ,
I took my family for a get-away fun weekend to Tundra Lodge recently. We splashed and played in the 30,000 square foot waterpark. We arrived at 6:00 P.M. check in was at 4:00 p.m. so it worked out great. My kids loved the place was some-what pricey but was well worth it. The staff was outstanding, friendly and very helpful. I was impressed with so many lifeguards as I counted 5 on duty and were very friendly and helpful. I only had 3 concerns/problems with this resort. 1. The parking lot lighting was HORRIBLE! I had to run out to my car late at night due to a sick child in need of a pain reliever and the parking lot was so dim I could hardly find my car let alone how scared I was walking around a poorly lit parking lot. 2. The bathroom ... can it be any smaller!! I felt I had little to no privacy getting dressed in such a small cubicle/room. I suggest you rip out the tub and put in stand up showers seriously who really takes baths these days when on vacation most use showers. Make those bathrooms bigger and fix the few cracks in the walls. 3. The resort... would have been nice to at least got a continental breakfast with the high rate price. All in all was a nice resort close to Packers stadium, shopping mall, Chucky Cheese and even Red Lobster. The Arcade room in the resort was fun and my kids and I fell in love with the " Lets Make a Deal " game. Ha! Ha! I even won 200 tickets playing it. I would take my family back to the resort just for the pure fun of it all and in hopes of at least a continental breakfast. :-)

DON'T SUPPORT THE TROOPS
By ,
They advertise that they support the troops with a discount, but when I called, a Soldier in the Army, to book they said they were not able to give the discount due to 80% capacity. Not to mention, it was pretty empty when we were there! I was told i didnt call far enough in advance. If they knew anything about the military that they claim to support, they would know that Soldiers do not find out very far in advance when they will have leave to spend time with their families. I know that I will not be spending anymore of my time or money at Tundra Lodge. If they had someone close to them die or be injured in war, they truely would support the troops no matter what.

nothing included!!
By ,
I went with my 2yr and some family members, and we were extremely disappointed that nothing was included for the price of this hotel, its expensive, even though, its a pretty hotel, there should of at LEAST of been a continental breakfast, or coupons for the restaurant..something!...but nothing, so..when the kids want to go back, we will stay somewhere else, and just buy the wristbands for the kids to swim for a few hours!!!...Not worth the money to stay there!

We will Not go back
By ,
We 4 Adults-(2)2yr olds), went to the Lodge for an overnight get away on Sunday/Monday,2/24/08. We arrived at 1pm,even tho check in is not guaranteed until 4pm, but were told that we could enter the waterpark at 1pm. We had lunch in the restaurant first which took almost an hour (and we were the only people in there), and yet no room ready? We did see people coming in, and getting rooms, but were told by one employee that if (several rooms were booked, their computer assigned them first). We did go into the water park, and had to leave our luggage at the desk, and at 4pm, we did have a room. The waterpark was great fun,and the kids loved it, but even tho we didn't have to check out until 11am on Monday, we were told the pools were closed until 3pm,and the kids could not use the facility before we left in the morning. I was glad to have a Corporate discounted room rate, because for $120 ++ per night stay, any other Comfort/Country/BestWestern Suites in the area we would have had access to the pool before we left in the morning !! The kids, and adults as well found the Tundra Lodges (variable hours) very inaccessable, and limiting for the price they charge. Upon check out, we were told that in March there hours may change, because they have "staffing issues", and that end/beginning of week, they have more Corporate Guests who do not use the facilities.

Fun!
By ,
We won a night's stay, so we didn't have any money concerns with the hotel. We did wait a little bit too long to check in, but everything else was wonderful. Definitely use the room service - very quick, good, nice and inexpensive for room service! We visited during a Packers away game - I can't imagine it's very fun there when it's jammed full on a home game weekend!
