We will Not go back
We 4 Adults-(2)2yr olds), went to the Lodge for an overnight get away on Sunday/Monday,2/24/08.
We arrived at 1pm,even tho check in is not guaranteed until 4pm, but were told that we could enter the waterpark at 1pm. We had lunch in the restaurant first which took almost an hour (and we were the only people in there), and yet no room ready? We did see people coming in, and getting rooms, but were told by one employee that if (several rooms were booked, their computer assigned them first).
We did go into the water park, and had to leave our luggage at the desk, and at 4pm, we did have a room.
The waterpark was great fun,and the kids loved it, but even tho we didn't have to check out until 11am on Monday, we were told the pools were closed until 3pm,and the kids could not use the facility before we left in the morning.
I was glad to have a Corporate discounted room rate, because for $120 ++ per night stay, any other Comfort/Country/BestWestern Suites in the area we would have had access to the pool before we left in the morning !!
The kids, and adults as well found the Tundra Lodges (variable hours) very inaccessable, and limiting for the price they charge.
Upon check out, we were told that in March there hours may change, because they have "staffing issues", and that end/beginning of week, they have more Corporate Guests who do not use the facilities.
