Wonderful Experience!

We have only good things to say about The Doctor's Inn, after staying for several nights in September. We really couldn't have been more pleased. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming, and yet we felt like we could relax in our own space and just enjoy being in the quiet.
The house is perched in a little clearing in the woods. Some rooms have vista views and others have a peaceful in-the-woods feel to them. The room we chose to stay in was the Yellow Room. Though I believe it's the smallest in the Inn, we found it to be cosy and comfortable. Unless we decided to experience something new, I think we'd pick the same room again.
Every morning, a homemade breakfast was served on the big wooden table in the dining room. Worth getting up for even if you keep musician's hours like we do. The hosts use local and organic as much as possible, which we love.
As you first walk into the inn, you find yourself in in the dark wood living room with wood stove firplace and lots of books. We immediately imagined visiting in the winter with a fire burning, reading a book, tea/coffee in hand. A large porch, part screened and part open, is perfect for listening to the quiet of the woods or reading or writing music. The inn is also furnished with lots of neat antique pieces. We found ourselves wandering around just looking at the furniture and decorations.
So, I guess you could say we highly recommend this little spot in the Universe!
