Woodland Beach Cottages, East Tawas

Loved the place and the owners. We already booked for next year. Wonderful place for families, will come back every year!!

We love that the beach was so private, quite and comfortable. The cabins were clean and well stocked.

We have had a family reunion here year after year and have gradually added to the number of people we bring. This year we rented 6 cabins and brought 28 people and never felt crowded. We played horse shoes and volley ball. We had 13 children in the group from 1-15 years old this year and never heard "I'm board" from anyone. The large deck and the beach play area were in use 12-15 hours a day. There is no car traffic around the cabins making it very safe for the kids to play. We were able to cook in the cabins or on the grills, in fact we only went to dinner 1 of the 7 nights we were there. The full size fridge gave us plenty of space for food, and the full kitchen was great to use. There is plenty of sand to play in, and you can walk 50 yards out into the water, and it is only 3' deep. We have been coming here for years and will continue to come back.

I have been vacationing at these cabins for over 15 years and have always had a wonderful time. Cabins are clean and have a beautiful deck along the water. Great place to relax and have a good time. For families with small children, this is the best with a play area just outside of your cabin door.

wooland had an excellent view of the water & lots of outdoor activities...volleyball, basketball lots of sand & a beautiful deck! lots of privacy if u want...not so much if u dont. the pull out couches leave a little to b desired..but the beds were comfortable & clean.
