Thunderbird Resort Motel, Wisconsin Dells

My husband and I stayed at the Thunderbird Resort in one of the spacious condos. We found the rooms to be very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked so all you need to bring is the food. We enjoyed sitting by the water with a fire crackling nearby. Mornings were peaceful while we were enjoying our coffee and breakfast on the deck. I loved the double sliding glass doors leading out to the very large deck overlooking beautiful Lake Dalton. There are paddle boats and a pontoon, games for the kids, a beach and an indoor pool. Owners Bertha and Wally are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. We are looking forward to taking our whole family for a great time at the dells and we plan to stay at the Thunderbird Resort. I would recommend this resort anytime. Thank you Bertha and Wally

We had a family reunion here and what a great place for all to meet. Fires and smores at night. Water games in the afternoon, and a trip to the dells in the morning. 7 days went toooo fast. nice clean accomodations, and Wally and Bertha are super... kid friendly beach in front of the condos, boats to use as you want (wally even let us put our motor on one), a play area for toddlers, everything we needed fo a great stay....10 stars

Thunderbird resort is a great place to vacation. We were just there for 5 nights (july of 2009). Wally and Bertha the owners are great. The place is very roomy and clean! We had the three bedroom and it was wonderful. A great deck and lots of room. The kids had a great time on the beach and using the pontoon boat and the paddle boats. They also had bean bags, basketball, ping pong and more to keep the kids busy. It is close to everything but you do not feel like it. We are already planning on booking next summer and bringing more friends back with us. It is much nicer then the other resorts that we looked at on the lake.
