Michael's Oceanfront Motel, Salisbury

this place is wonderfull! clean!!nice rooms and what a veiw!I could lay in bed and wach the waves or sit on the deck beautifull! will go back recomend to every one! i was in room 205 it was great!

The room stunk of smoke yet it was a non'smoking room, the beds were uncomfortable, there was mold in the bathroom and in the room itself, the furniture was broken. There was no view, we were stuck in a corner room and it was dark. The refrigerator was as old as the hills and the stove did not cook our food well. Would not recommend, the price, outrageous for the non view we had. Only room for one car and barely for your one car.

The only good thing about this place was the 'ocean view'! The bed was horrible.....the mattress was hard and 'crunchy" underneath us....there was actually plywood underneath it! The bath towels were so rough that it was actually painful to dry off after a shower! AND it was 190+ dollars! Not even an ice machine! Never again!

The owner was nice! The room however was nasty! It was filthy! Dirty ceiling fans, bathroom nasty and when we went to bed we found bugs in our sheets!! It was not worth the 132.00 that was paid by far! I would not recommend this to anyone.

The only good thing about this place is that the owner is nice, and it is close to everything. However,the place smelled like nasty cigarettes, the beds were uncomfortable and they had nasty comforters on them. The room was dirty and so was the bathroom.

I never actually got to visit the motel, but I've had nothing but trouble trying to set up and then cancel a reservation. No one ever answers the front desk phone!!

The staff was very helpful, and so was the owner himself. Great people. Room had a beautiful view, Top floor had a swing on the porch to sit on overlooking the ocean or you could walk right down onto the beach. Appliances were very clean. Was better than other hotels I've stayed at on Salisbury beach, that's for sure.

The room smelled like i was in a giant ash tray. The bed made my skin crawl. Old sheets and blankets. Not very clean. Good location. I would not recommend this hotel. Especially for $115 a night.

For over six years now I go every year once and some times twice. Room 202 specially is very relaxing. Close to every thing. Great to wake up in the morning the ocean view. It is relly what it is called, ocean front.

We absolutely loved it there! We spent Christmas in room 202 and it was heaven! Very quiet, spacious, relaxing, and having the kitchenette was really helpful. We stayed another night unexpectedly! We thought it was that great... If you stay - make sure you pick room 201 (private deck/ocean view) or 202 (same but w/jet tub). Happy 2009 everyone!
