This was Our first time in a Bed and Breakfast and We were Quite Surprised.
The Hosts (Ross and Diane) were Great,
the Food (Breakfast) was Outstanding.
and We really enjoyed the little things like Fresh Cookies, Popcorn and the
free DVD selection.
This would be a great choice for a Family Reunion or a Church Retreat.
Although the hosts were quite lovely and charming, if you like either beds or breakfasts, this is not the place for you. The mattress is monk-like, the breakfast is marginal and collegic, and the "cookie jar" bonus is a trans fat haven. Topping it off, the room was very dusty and there was a dirty footprint in our jacuzzi tub- before we thought of using it. The intention of the hosts is nice and clearly genuine, but if you have traveled anywhere at even a Marriott quality or above, this is not your place - and it isn't bargain priced either.
