Cresthill Suites Hotel Albany, Albany

We were here for four nights in the two bedroom suitenfor the Thanksgiving holiday. Truly a home away from home. Actually cooked a whole Thanksgiving turkey for family in the full kitchen with all appliances provided. Two full baths! Clean. Quiet. I have never slept in a more comfortable bed! The staff were so helpful and friendly. VERY nice breakfast and enjoyed the complimentary evening meal with complimentary drinks. We discovered CrestHill Suites last year and could not wait to come back this year, and will of course plan again for next Thanksgiving! Love Love Love this place!!!!!

Creepy feeling. Felt like I was being watched by staff. They have these triangular things in the rooms on the walls looks like cameras. They go through all your garbage. They know when you leave or come in. I am an adult don't need to be monitored or baby sat by there staff. It made me very uneasy. It is a true invasion of privacy! I felt violated!

Clean, good location to city and to expressways. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Continental breakfast daily was a cut above others we have had and during the week they offer evening social hour (530 to 700) with food and complimentary beverages. Stayed in the front of the hotel, and it was very quiet considering its proximity to major highways. Towels were large, bed was very comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. Used to be a travel agent for 20 plus years and wouldn't put clients where I wouldn't personally stay so I don't give kudos unless they are deserved. Actually, there were no dislikes!

Checked in for two day but an emergency forced me to leave 4 hours after the check out time...was charged for the TWO DAYS...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Cresthill Suites just a week ago for five nights. My suite was very comfortable, exceptionally clean. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

Wonderful value for the room rate. Very clean and spacious room, fully equipped including a tiny dishwasher. Slept well in a very comfortable bed. Spent one night with my son after a concert at the Washington Ave Armory, conveniently on the same street since I don't know Albany. Breakfast in the AM had a nice selection and the coffee was excellent. Only minor complaint, was the coolness of the staff, with the exception of a helpful and friendly snack presenter, for lack of a better title, in the early evening. Other staff were not outgoing, yet evidence of their good work ethic was evident.

We have been using this hotel for business needs. We went in one night and they had no water. They were working on a main line. Our group had worked a 12 hour day and all we wanted was a shower. The clerk kept telling us it would only be an hour. We checked with the guys working on it and they said we would be lucky to have water that night. We asked for a different hotel for the night so that we could get a shower and get to bed as we had to be up very early for another long day the next day. The clerk moved us to a different hotel and it was terrible. She then lied to our company and said that we left even though they had the water fixed. When we left, she apologized for the inconvenience and then lied to our company becasue they don't want to pay for the night at the dive they sent us to.

I will never use this hotel or any of its other locations again. It is unsafe and management is unresponsive to guests' safety and needs. While a long-term guest at this hotel, my room was broken into two times! The assumption is that it was the hotel staff who would use guest rooms while they were out. The first time it happened, the damages were minor and the manager at that time was quick to act on it so I continued my stay. The second time, more than enough evidence was left and the room left in an unsanitary condition to prove that the room was used by a couple for a rendevous. Bad enough that that happened, but it took the new management 7 hours and 3 phone calls to respond to my situation. While convenient and moderately priced, there is a lack of security or responsive management at this hotel.

Very Clean Hotel. Laundry facility on every floor and if was free. Spacious bright clean rooms. Nice kitchen area with full kitchen appliances. Nice Welcome basket. Price was very reasonable and staff was very helpfull. Comfortable beds. Did not us the outdoor pool, did not have warm weather. Wish there were more Cresthills on our trip to stay at.

My daughter moved to Albany, NY in August. Their apartment is too small to accommodate any guests. I tried various motels in the area. I was not impressed. All of my children planned a to visit her in Jan. I checked out Cresthill Suites online and reserved three suite rooms for our family. It was an awesome experience from check in to check out. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable. The welcoming guest basket was delightful. We all agreed that this was a great place to stay. I highly recommend Cresthill Suites
