Lefevre Inn & Resort, Galena

It is very intimate and homey. The Inn Keepers and their family are wonderful. We have stayed here several times for several days at a time. There is so much to do and see in and around Galena. They keep you up to date on the happenings in the area.

They gave us Annette Lopez's room (see below) and thank goodness they did because it was AMAZING. Most comfortable quaint hotel we've ever stayed at.

After traveling to get to this hotel we get there and the lady in the office starts to tell me that she doesn't have a room for us - UNBELIEVABLE she wanted to tell me that she never booked me and did not have my information - which I called twice and gave her my credit card number to hold the room - she then tells me she gave the room to someone else and hour ago - are you kidding me - what kind of hotel is this- she then wants to make it "right" with us and wants to put us in a "dump " up the street! What a scam, as we walk out we hear she did the same thing to another couple just ahead of us - Lack of professionalism, rude and not truthful is what you will get at this place.......don't put yourself through the awful experience we had....we will NEVER go back to this place!!!

If you want to get away and relax this is the place to be! when we arrived michelle was great. checked with us and asked how things were going all the time. peaceful, quiet, BEAUTIFUL view. Pleanty of room to relax in the room and outdoors. very close to downtown as well. i would go back anytime and would recommend it to anyone!

My boyfriend and I stayed in the suite for Memorial Weekend. The suite was beautiful, very modern and tons of room. Whirlpool tub, full kitchen, flat screen, and very comfortable beds. Then the best parts...you open the patio doors and step out to see the most beautiful landscape and views for miles on end. Sunsets....the best!! There's a firepit at night, along with a new beautiful lake and gazebo. My boyfriend demanded we watch all the sunsets we were there for. Very impressive. The hot tub and pool are positioned next to the bluff and both are very comfortable and relaxing. They also allow pets!!! I think if everyone knew how beautiful and relaxing this resort is and could see the views, this place would be booked for years! My boyfriend and I plan on taking our bridal parties there someday, (if he ever proposes) and if he did propose at the resort he would definitely get a YES!

my wife and i visited lefervre,wanting to try something different.my wife and i were arriving late.linda was outside waiting with a smile and said welcome.the hotel,view and staff was absoultly breath taking.everything was clean.i will be back with the rest of the family.keep up the good work guys,thank you linda for helping me find roses for my wifes birthday.

Our stay was very nice. The room was clean, spacious and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The views were worth the stay in and of itself. The inn keeper was very friendly and a pleasure to talk with and she shared a lot of information about the resort/inn and the area. We are planning to go back very soon.

My husband and I stayed in the off season, between Thanksgiving and Christmas - the pool was closed of course, so cannot comment on it, looked nice. But, we enjoyed our 2 ngt/3 day weekend stay. In the evening we watched movies, drank wine, and had a great fire going. It is a short drive to town which is beautiful, all decorated for Christmas. I made a few purchases at the unique shops there. We ate a few really great restaurants. I drove from Pleasant Prairie, WI. and he met me there from a job in nearby. We have since moved to Texas, but would recommend the inn to anyone traveling in the area. We only had one problem - it was very windy, we had a large corner room on the second floor - the windows whistled. My husband having met me there directly from a job nearby and he had good old ducktape - he put it on the windows and we did not hear anything after that. We removed the tape before we left and it all worked out fine. They probably would have changed our room if we asked, but it was a very nice large room and we did not want to move all of our things.

This Inn was fantstic! It was clean, Grate view, Pet freandly,Quit,Relaxsing,Almost everything you need, And more. Never had a better time!!!! Close to town and all other things to see and do!!!! We will be telling all our freands and famaly to stay here!!!! We will be back.

My wife & I stayed at LeFevre last weekend and were very disappointed because the room had tons of flies. We spent most of our time killing flies. They did not adjust our bill. The managment knew about the flies before we checked in. We kill at least 30 flies. It spoiled our stay.
