Werry's Motel & Cottages, East Stroudsburg

We had an opportunity to hop into the car and drive down for some quick skiing with the intent of finding a place once we had arrived. After stopping and checking a few other places we opted to give Werry's a quick look - the room we were shown wasn't elegant and grand, but it was CLEAN! When we decided to stay there and were in the process of checking-in, we were told of their spectacular deal for less than $150 we got the room for the night, two lift tickets to either Shawnee or Camelback and two $8 vouchers to use in their restaurant. Again, the room was exceptionally clean and the food was fantastic! It was such a pleasure to be able to ski during the day then come back to the room, rest-up, shower then walk across the parking lot to dinner and a few adult beverages. Not having to seek out a place to eat then another place to have a drink then worry about driving on wet, unfamiliar roads was a God send! During our second trip to Werry's we checked in and found that the heater wasn't working - they immediatly sent someone to fix it, and barring being able to do that they would move our bags to a new room. All we had to do was check with them after we got off of the slopes. Thankfully they were able to fix the heat, but I wouldn't have minded if they hadn't knowing our belongings were in good hands. I fully recommend this exceptional place with a fantastic, smiling and accommodating staff! Enjoy your stay!
