It looked as if it should be rented by the hour

The Hotel Deauville is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my entire life. The bedding was dingy, thing and ratty, the carpet looked as if it hadn't been professionally cleaned in years, not that it would have helped, since the appearance of the carpet conjured images of the grimy welcome mats you normally find in the doorways of 24 hour delis.
The worst part of the hotel, besides it's $155 per night price (and there were much newer 3 to 4 star hotels to be found on priceline for that price)is that the water pressure was so weak you couldn't even take a relaxing shower, never mind wash your hair. I had to fill a large water bottle with hot water from the sink just to wash my hair.
The people at the main desk seemed nice and friendly, but that's about all this place had going for it, if you could even call it that. I would NOT stay here under any conditions. You're better off staying at a hotel in NJ and just paying for a cab ride back and forth than staying in this dirty old hotel.
