Terrific place to stay and eat!

We have stayed at the Crag's Lodge/Golden Eagle Resort for year. My parents have owned a timeshare through the Golden Eagle Resort since the 1980's. This is a beautiful historic lodge that is well managed and is kept very clean. The rooms are beautiful with kitchenetts. Some of the rooms are fairly small (the studios) but still very nice. It has a terrific restaurant that overlooks downtown Estes Park. It is in a very convenient location ,within walking distance of downtown, the tramway, and a small amusement type park that has go-carts, miniature golf, and more.
There is an outdoor pool and hot tub that is surrounded by the mountain side, a grilling area next to the pool, and deer that walk right up to the lodge bar. In the lodge there is a game/reading room, a pool table, and a large sitting area with a fireplace. Friendly staff and very accomodating. We go back every year and we're never disappointed!
