Someone at Yahoo needs to correct the heading..... this lodge is located in Colorado, not Albany, Ky.

Perfect Location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/9/10
I stayed at Meeker several times as a youngster and have been back as an adult. I have not been there for a few years but miss it greatly. The cabins were quaint, comfortable, and cozy. We really loved the location - just a few miles from the less busy entrance to the park at Glacier Basin. A great destination indeed!

Unspoiled beauty in the Rockies
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/23/10
I used to work at Meeker Park Lodge as a kid, it is by far the most beautiful lodge in the Rockies. The unblemished views of Meeker mountain and the clear mountain air will refresh anyones soul. The Devers are an amazing family and since I was a child have never faltered in their customer service. If you go to the Estes Park/Allenspark area and you don't stay at Meeker Park Lodge you are doing yourself a dis-service. This lodge reflects what it means to "go on vacation". I have very fond memories of spending my childhood up in those mountains and Meeker Park is among those cherished memories. So my advice is...do yourself a favor and book a cabin or a room in the lodge and get out into the mountains and renew yourself so that you can face another year in whatever ratrace you may be running in.

Just The Best
By Peg, 6/23/09
We can' t say enough about how wonderful Meeker Park Lodge is...and the Devers are the best hosts in Colorado. Square dancing in the rec hall on wednesday evenings is so much fun....and the breakfasts in the Lodge are truly the best.

a bit run down
By Earnest, 6/21/08
Meeker Park Lodge is rustic, and on the border of being run down. The price is right, though. It is fairly cheap. Location is nice, just a few miles south of Estes Park.

Great Place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/17/07
Meeker Park Lodge was the perfect location to recharge our batteries! The rustic yet beautiful cabin was just what we needed. The fireplace was perfect on the cool Summer night. We happened upon this gem quite by accident and can't wait to get back. Close enough to everything you could want yet far enough away to be quiet, relaxing and romantic. The family that runs it could not have been more friendly or helpful. If you get out that way, stop here. You won't be sorry

MEEKER MOUNTAIN MAJESTY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/15/06
Caution....spending time at Meeker Park Lodge is EXTREMELY habit forming. There is no other place that comes close to the unending beauty found at the base of Mount Meeker. From charming atmosphere of the general store makes it hard to leave once you've made your puchase. The locals and visitors seem more like family members at a reunion to the natural splendor wherever you turn. It is impossible to avoid falling in love with this place. The main lodge is full of the much of the original 1930's decor and unmistakable warmth built over decades by all those who passed through the doors. The rustically accomodating cabins scattered around the ajoining hillside provide just enough comfort for those needing a little more independence. Fully furnished with living area, kitchen, shower and bedroom. Each one unique with it's own name carved on wooden plaques over the entry. If there could be anything negitive to point out, it would be that leaving can be somewhat painful.

Beautiful, Romantic Getaway
By SusanC, 5/21/06
This Lodge is one of the most beautiful places on earth. You can go horseback riding, hiking and just enjoy the wildlife from these beautiful cabins. Have been there several times and will continue to return again and again.
