Don't Judge a Book by a Cover!!!

It could not be said any better about the management. It was our first time visiting the camp along with a few of our family and friends who make this trip annually. The camp site itself along with the lake and nice dirt bike trails is breath taking, however, that changed instantly after an encounter with the management. They are the worst hosts and most of all unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. In my profession you would looking for a new job. They are an embarrassment to both the camp and the ownership of the camp, as well as, themselves. There are plenty of ways to uphold rules and regulations, however, it is totally uncalled for to treat people like s!*% (trash) especially in front of their kids, family , and friends. I always follow the rules and set an example to my family and especially my kids. I want them to have a good time, that is what vacation is all about. We wanted to get away from all the "A"holes, not vacation with them, breathing down our throats. I kind of kick myself because we were advised prior to making our trip up their by multiple people about how rude and completely out line the management could be but we blew it off and figured how bad could it be? Are only intentions were to spend family time together and do the whole fishing, camping, dirt bike riding thing. When a campground offers all of these activities management needs to expect that sort of crowd and families to come up and vacation at your campground. If miserable as a manager there than I think it is really your time to go and manage a senior home or special needs facility. The pace will be just right for the managers at Morning Star Campground.
As soon as we arrived they left a bad taste in our mouth. During our check in they were very pushy and persistent on trying to convince us not to camp there because of the bad weather and as if they did not want to deal with us. We were then asked how many people in our party, I said "3," later that day while setting up for camp management saw our dog and was extremely confrontational about why I did not pay for the dog fee, which I was never aware of, in addition. was never asked if I had any pets during my check in. "So how do you deal with people that have an education of a second grader living in the woods?" Well, I made it very clear that I would go up to the front and pay for the pet fee since I was unaware of the fee. In addition, my family and I were falsely accused of random actions making our stay very uncomfortable. This is just a pinch of what you will be getting yourself and your family and friends into if and/ or when you visit Morning Star. I would strongly urge that if you are going to visit Foresthill area to really find another campsite until they change and get rid of their old, salty, crusty, trashy, filth of what they call management. In my all my experiences I have never been treated so poorly. They absolutely ruined our vacation as a family and made us have regrets for not listening to the advise given to us initially. After reading and comparing all these reviews they are right on. I am not to sure about the one 5 star one sounds like they are a little to close of friends with the management but to me 14 out of 15 is good enough for the consistency that the manager are doosh bags. I am all for rules and regulations to keep disciple and order but upholding a reputation to be a complete "A"hole to people and degrade their integrity as a person. I would never go back and I cant wait to check out the other campgrounds for next year.
