There is a lot to do there at LDS, with its many facilities. However, don't get even close to Steve, the manager. He is quite an angry person. I was honestly treated better by my basic training drill intstructor than I was treated by Steve. I find I'm not alone with this observation. He just doesn't like people, and he doesn't care about them. I feel sorry for him, but I don't need to renew my membership there because of him alone. Why give him my money and then have him treat me with immense hostility? I don't know what his problem is, but when greeting him causes him to go ballistic, something is wrong and it reflects very badly, despite the quality of the facilities. He is the wrong man for the job.

This place is super. It's such a wonderful feeling to enjoy hundreds of acres in the buff. There are a number of nice pools, lush grounds, and happy, normal, nude folks. Our room, in the new, hotel like building, was great. You should try it. You'll like it. The only bad part is having to put your clothes on to go home!

After my first visit to my first Clothing Optional resort, I was hooked. I became a Gold Member after my first visit. I love going to Laguna. My experiences have been fun, the people I have met have been nothing but friendly to me. Those at the front desk are gracious and welcoming. It is definately worth the money. The initiation fee (1/2 price special in March) is no more than one would pay for a gym membership initiaion fee. Between National membership and a Gold membership, I am paying basically $1.00 a day for pure heaven. I cannot afford to save up for a huge two week vacation a year and all the costs involved, but I can go on weekly mini vacations. To relax in an atmosphere like this is truly beneficial towards one's mental health and quality of life. It is outstanding. I have access to an indoor pool, indoor hot tub, outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub and conversation pool. Billiards, laundry facility, lake, fishing, lounging, relaxing and the dances (many themed) on Friday and Saturday nights are just wonderful. The friendships I have been cultivating are ones that will last for many years to come and my fellow members make each visit worthwhile. Because I am a Gold member, if I would like to camp there, it is VERY reasonable. My weekly vacation (If I'm not headed to Reno or San Francisco) begins at 3:30pm on Friday and ends on 6:30am on Monday. When I get there, I remove the confines of society (clothes) and don my sarong. It's so freeing when you realize, when you get comfortable and remove your clothes, how normal you truly are. You learn to accept your body, no matter what size or shape you are, and you find others there accept you as you are too. Also, when you are in your natural state, there has to be a level of trust in order to do that. At Laguna, there is an unspoken level of trust, and as a single woman, I feel safe there. Having the freedom to be a naturalist is truly freedom indeed. I will continue my membership year after year.

My wife and I have spent many weekends at LDS. The camping is on grass and is wonderful. It's a fun, friendly place with a lot of activities. The only negative is the manager, Steve. He has the people skills of an angry schoolmaster. You are the customer, yet he will treat you like a child if you have any encounter with him. Other than that, the place is a gem.

What a resort! Pools, hot tubs, dances, water vollyball, friendly staff and guests it is just as close to paradise that you can get in the mainland U.S. Highly recomend this as a vacation spot or if nearby a staycation. I became a gold member the first time there!

There isn't a better place to go, (I have traveled), to have fun, swim, lay in the sun and hang around with people who enjoy their free time the way you do. Happy 4th.

We took the tour and it was our 1st time at a nudist resort. It was recommended by one of our friends, so at 61 years of age, my wife and I were nervous , and did not know what to expect. Ron gave my wife and I the tour, and he was able to not only give us a tour of the beautiful place, he spent time explaining and making us comfortable. We are going back as soon as possible. (It must be nice, it is booked up all the time) I am hard to impress, but I am impressed Ken

This is the BEST place to relax and unwind. The people are great and the resort is beautiful. Someone here wrote about a bad experience. I'm sorry about their trip, but we have always found the management trying to help, not get in the way. Those that are "blacklisted" are treated as such for their "behavior," not for complaining as one person wrote. We appreciate a management staff that doesn't want people around that cause problems for others. If you have ever wanted to try a nudist experience, this is the place. You will not regret it.

The people are extremely friendly. My husband and I have visited many of the super resorts in FL and have felt that although the facilities were amazing, some of the people were not. You can't say that here. We took our tour and were sponsored to go in so the first visit was free. We're in our mid twenties and didn't feel out of place at all. Within five minutes, the guest there invited us to play volleyball and definitely attend the dance later that night. If you want privacy, you can still find it. If you want to meet great people, you can find it. The dances are great and the facilities are clean. The location is a country mile from anything though. That's the only complaint!

We went to Laguna Del Sol with friends several years ago. We continued as often as we could until becoming Gold Members last year. That was a great move and we added a 5th wheel trailer to enjoy Laguna in. If your a "first timer" nudist, this is a fantastic place as it's so large. You can be with other's at one of the 3 pools or just wander in nature by yourself. Perfect! The weekend dances are great and we have met many life long friends there. Enjoy...
