White Oaks Cabins, Taswell

My recent trip gave me a clear view that each cabin has its own personality to meet the needs of its occupants. Everything is provided except food and clothing, where on earth can I have the same service? above all, interior decoration and the atmosphere from sunrise to sunset is unbelievably outstanding. The staff are friendly, Big Red is the sweetest dog you'll ever meet, alone or not you'll never be lonely! You'll get more than what you paid for, White Oaks is a cathedral in the woods, a class of its own!

What a wonderful place There are new owners now and they made us feel like family. They even met us after dark to help guide us in during the recent snow. Our cabin was perfect they had the fireplace going and the lights on. This is a great place to go if you have kids or just a couple wanting a weekend away.

My family had the opportunity to stay at Whte Oaks Cabins this past summer. We immediately fell in love with it! There is something very special about Whte Oaks...It is a place where many memories can be made. We had campfires, hikes and family game night. .We went to Holiday World, Patoka Lake, Blue River Canoes, and French Lick. We already have our week picked out for next summer! The owner, Bob Cadwallader makes each person feel special and welcomed and makes sure all have a great time!!!

I have always enjoyed and loved this place. My daughter & I have been traveling to White Oaks since 1996 when I discovered it by accident. There is so much for anyone to do. All of the cabins are great and each has it's own history, one even has the history of Abraham Lincoln. The cabins have all the comforts of home and then some.Bob has always been great and helpful with so much from things you may have forgotten or need, to helping plan something to do. If anyone, or even a whole family, needs to find a place to just step back, be able to take a breath, and revive themselves - this is the perfect place for it.
