The Carneros Inn is four miles from the American Center for Wine, Food & the Arts (COPIA), a cultural museum and educational center dedicated to exploring the interrelationships of food, wine, and the arts.This non-smoking hotel has two restaurants, a hilltop dining lounge offering panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards, and a casual, rustic-looking cafe. The onsite day spa offers health and beauty treatments, including various styles of massage, and a sauna and steam room. Overlooking the countryside, the pool-deck area comprises a lap pool and spa tub. Guests also enjoy a fitness center, concierge services, and book- and DVD-borrowing privileges at the hotel's library. The staff provides business services, including faxing, copying, and printing. Guests have complimentary use of the computer at the concierge station, which has high-speed Internet access. Guests can also enjoy bocce, croquet, meandering through fruit orchards and flower gardens, and wine tasting.The 86 guestrooms and suites are located in individual cottages with private, heated patios and French doors opening onto gardens.
