For the past 10+ years we have been coming to Doc & Al's in the fall. We rent one of the cabins near the Robinson's creek and the changing color's of the aspens is amazing. Some times at night the mule dear with their babies come by looking for berries. The location is great. Not to far from town and not to far from the fishing lakes and streams. Not to many people and the weather can change in minutes . The staff are great people and very professional. They have a very personable manner and willing to help at a moments notice. What I dislike about Doc and Al's is I have to wait a whole year to come back.
We take a family vacation every year to Doc and Al's. Just got back from our annual trip and i was so sad to leave. Love the cabins, rustic and very out doorsy... if you are a spa/resort kinda person this is not for you. We have about 20 people that go each year and about 25% are children, very kid friendly and the wildlife is amazing! cant wait till next year to go again!!!
My family has been coming up here for the last 25 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. The location is ideal, right next to the streams, and only a short drive from Twin Lakes or the center of town.
The camp sight is nothing fancy but has everything an outdoorsman needs. If you are only interested in 4 star accommodations find some place else. But if you like fishing during the day, cooking out under the stars at night in a relaxing atmosphere it doesn’t get much better then this.
This is a family friendly camp where you can just camp, fish, ride bikes, play games, or just enjoy God's best. Rustic to fully appointed Cabins/trailers are fully equipped - just bring your food and clothing or bring your tent, trailer or RV. Beautiful surroundings with an abundance of God's creatures. Nice laundry & bathroom/shower facility and wonderfully helpful staff. Look forward to going back each year. Best fishing guide in Eastern Sierra's, Frank Killen, stays at camp during fishing season. Lake, stream, reservoir fishing all close. Only dislike is hook-ups are first come, first served.
I been to Doc & Als, five times. Each time it is a new treat. If you want some time with with friends,or just by yourself, this is the bombs.Even if you dont like fishing, you will by the time you leave. You just can not wait to come back, this has to be GODS country, try it you will be empressed.
The cabins are equipped for anything you want. From the small ones to the bigger ones. Where we stayed had Robinsons creek right out your back door, just waiting to be fished. I would recommend this spot to everyone.
Several options to choose from camping to full hook ups for trailers or differnt cabin sizes and styles. Great rates on all, clean and friendly people. unlimited trout fishing, hiking or just relaxing. If you enjoy the outdoors you have to try Doc and Al's. Also ask about Frank he is a fishing guide on Bridgeport lake if you want to catch the BIG ONE.
Nestled on the shore of Bridgeport Reservoir, at 6,500 feet elevation, in the beautiful Eastern Sierra, this full service RV
park provides 38 full hookup sites that will accommodate awnings and slide outs. The park also features tent and ...
