Blackthorne Inn, Point Reyes Station

I loved this most unique B&B. There were two very special rooms available, one was like a five star tree hut. NO I'm not talking about climbing in a tree, this was a room reached by a spiral stairs over a large public deck. The view would have been terrific, being up at treetops level, and of course very private. The other room had a multiglass window at the head board of a king or queen size bed. That room made me feel like I was in the captains room in a tall ship. These rooms were so unique and creative it just made this already very private B&B (buried in the woods at the head of a ravine.) all the better. Food was superb, staff very helpful with local places of interest.
