Sandpiper Lodge, Merced

Great staff, all your needs are provided by manager. we picked this hotel last minute since we were travelling alot so we didnt get to book a room. Sandpiper was perfect for us in our budget. Clean rooms, room with tv, microwave, refrigrator, bath tubs, comfy beds, and working or dinner desk for two of us. Hotel is well maintained and well furnished. on top of that they have internet service which is wired and wireless so that was very plus point for us so we can talk to our family back home. We requested a late check out and Manny said yes without even asking us a question or charging extra since we were tired of travelling on the road. we requested 12pm check out and we were even late and they didnt bother us at all ! Great staff, clean hotel and rooms with swimming pool. Unfortunately, we could not use the pool due to rainy/windy weather in march. Hoepfully, we can use it when we come and stay here after our yosemite trip! We recommend this hotel to everyone.

I went to go visit my cousin at UC Merced and decided to try this place out. The place is great! When it comes to hotels, all the small things count. From cable to the toilet paper! A nice little breakfast on the go, and a great pool for a nice exercise. Stayed for 3 days/2 nights and I was pleased of how the hotel handled their business. Thumbs up sandpiper!
